Suggested Physician in the Philadelphia Area
I thought that I'd suggest a physician that folks should consider. I'm a former bike rider. I rode for 24 months and ended up with PN, causing pain, discomfort, and moderate ED. I was misdiagnosed with PFD and went through three rounds of PT over two years with no improvement. Very frustrating. I wa...

Experience with Gabapentin -- Side Effects
Folks: I've had PN from biking for 3 years now. Took a long time to get to diagnosis, but finally got there. My MD gave me 300 MG/day Gabapentin, which works really well for me. My pain and ED (I'm male) go away. However, the GB gives me terrible panic attacks and sleepless nights -- even just the 5...

Re: Male with testiculcar/penile numbness + pelvic pain
Sorry to hear about your symptoms. The good news is that it sounds like you may have gotten off the bike in time to prevent any truly lasting damage. Re: Cyclist Syndrome?
This email chain is a bit older, but it does speak to bicyclists, which is what brought on my PN. I rode for 2 years until I realized that biking was causing my newfound significant ED. I stopped riding right away, which was 3 years ago. In addition to ED, I developed discomfort in the groin area yo...

Re: Male Cyclist - Do I have PN?
Thank you Andy and Violet for your kind input and assistance. Reading through the forum there are a bunch of physicians that seem to have expertise in PN. It doesn't sound like there is one single test that can diagnose the condition with 100% confidence, so getting to an expert seems more productiv...

Male Cyclist - Do I have PN?
I’m a 46 year old male and have been diagnosed with pudendal nerve neuropathy by my physician, and I’d love to get the feedback from the group as to whether this sounds like PN or something else as well as which physician I should reach out to. My History Purchased mountain bike in April 2012. Did 2...
