Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
Has anyone successfully obtained disability? I'm seriously considering doing so. However, I believe in the past I have read that it is almost impossible to get disability for this illness. Also, what is the process like? (For anyone who has at least tried to get disability or was actually successful...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
About 3 or so weeks ago I drove 5 hours to see Dr. Echenberg in Pennsylvania. He was by far the most knowledgeable doctor I have seen about PGAD and he spent 4 hours with me on my first visit. He educated me on Pudendal Neuralgia, PGAD and Vulvodynia. He prescribed me a few creams, medications and e...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
After a few years of feeling like crap with the PGAD(off and on), I have heard great things about Dr. Echenberg in PA. It took a few months, but my insurance agreed to cover visits to see him for the next few months.
I'm really hoping he can help me.

My symptoms returned about a month and a half ago and I started PT again a few weeks ago. This is embarrassing, but does anyone get the feeling they're having mini orgasms? I hate deali...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
Anyone else feel crazy when it comes to these symptoms? I know deep down I'm not, mainly because of these forums and finally finding a good doctor. but I often wonder if it's all in my head and what's wrong with me.

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
What has everyone's experience been with nerve blocks? I feel 'okay' compared to when I first developed this a few years ago. I felt 95% better for a solid year and a half and now I seem to be getting these symptoms on and off(mostly arousal, slight pain). I'm on gabapentin and I believe that's why ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
I've been in a pretty good place regarding this awful health issue. Found a good doctor and have been on gabapentin which has helped a lot.
This may be a stupid question but I thought I'd ask anyway. Are probiotics okay to take in regards to pudendal neuralgia or pgad?
Thanks in advance
