Re: Botox and aftermath
Thanks for your reply Violet, I havn't seen a Neurosurgeon or orthopedic spinal specialist. When I spoke to my PN specialist, he didn't state where the entrapment lied. I can tell you specifically what the MRI notes are, I honestly don;t understand the specifics as hard as I try, this textbook jargo...

Re: Botox and aftermath
Thanks for your acknowledgement, it means a lot. I live in Australia so I havnt heard of that specific doctor before. I will have to check out the interview. I have 250 units of botox injected into only one side, the side that causes me grief when sitting. I felt the effects of it immediately after ...

Botox and aftermath
Hi everyone, I need some advice as I am feeling a bit lost. About 8 months ago I got sent for a Pudental MRI which showed acute angulation at the S4-S5 junction as a result of an undiagnosed spinal fracture [ I have had back pain and pudental nerve pain symptoms for 4 years].The report said there wa...

Sudden severe flare up
Hi, If anyone has seen my previous posts I have had PN and suspected PNE for the last 4 years. MRI has shown acute angulationat S3-S5 area from an undiagnosed spinal fracture that doctors dismissed when I had a fall and refused to let me have scans done. In the past 12 months I have had 3 nerve bloc...

Re: I think my blocks failed :(
On a positive note, I went through with the 2nd round of nerve blocks and he definitely got the right spot! I could feel it going to my genital area and got 2 weeks of relief! Big difference in effectiveness the 2nd time around!

Re: physio - how long before you notice improvement?
Thankyou for your replies. I appreciate it. At the moment my PT is focusing on my back rather than my pelvis, as my back appears to be what has caused the pudental nerve problem. She wants to move onto my pelvis later on. At the monent I am doing pilates-style roll-ups, focusing on stretching to my ...

physio - how long before you notice improvement?
Hi, Just a few questions about Physio. First off, how long does it generally take before you notice any form of significant improvement? When doing physio, is it usually pelvic/internal exercises that get done to improve the pudental nerve or is it mainly focused on your back/leg exercises/ movement...

Re: I think my blocks failed :(
There was no imaging used because unfortunately I couldn't afford the $3500 to have it done that way :( but seeing as the professor has seen over 12,000 patientsand done blocks they said there would only be a 10% accuracy difference. I had no imaging used in previous blocks by the gyno who went thro...
