Thanks for the support and encouragement Helen.
Yes, I will have to see my GP again.
It's just so much hassle though.
I will keep you posted.
Take care.

Re: PNE inventions I wish I could make
How are your inventions going?
Worldwide it is quite a big market.
You need to look in to marketing online and setting up a website.

Re: How to get a referral?
I saw my GP this morning to give him the details for my referral. Well today he told me he can not refer me to UCLH as that is outside his area and that only a urologist can refer me there. So he will instead refer me to the Chronic Pelvic Pain unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. I will see ho...

Re: Dr Jenner, pain consultant, London
I'm fairly new here - is Dr Carlstedt the better option for surgery? Also, I suppose, therefore I should asked to be referred to Dr Jenner? My GP said he is willing to refer me to Dr Baranowski as he practices at (NHS) UCLH in London, but if neccessary I still have the option of changing this as he ...

It's OK when I sit on the toilet but ofcourse, once you have to put on underwear and clothes, the situation is changed and t...

Re: How to get a referral?
Thank you Peaches and Calluna. I saw my GP this afternoon and he is willing to refer me to UCL Hospital where Dr Baronowski practices. My GP told me he can not refer me to Bristol but only to London hospitals. However, urologists can do this. But since I am currently not being seen by a urologist, I...

Re: How to get a referral?
Why don't you consult the Bristol team. They trained with Prof.Robert in Nantes. They perform surgery available on the NHS. http://www.pudendalhope.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=584 I live in London and practically speaking, if I have to make repeated visits, I assume it would be better to be...

Re: How to get a referral?
The moment I told them it could be PNE, they wanted to refer me to a psychiatrist. I know of no Dr that would want to send a patient immediately to a psychiatrist just because they mentioned their chronic pain might be caused by a nerve entrapment. Nerve entrapments are a widely recognized cause of...
