Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
I respectfully disagree with you on my reasons for surgery. I had surgery from the advice of several doctors who had looked at me over the course of twelve months. But that is besides the point. If I remember correctly you saw Dr.Greenslade that gave you 3 blocks. Some were positive, some gave you ...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
I agree. A psychological evaluation from a stranger across the internet is a little strange when research papers & findings are picked apart. However, I wish you nothing but continued success Nonsequitur/Ezer with your treatment. There is nothing more to be said from myself on the matter. But y...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
And by the way, if every conventional treatment has a placebo effect as you say, maybe mindbody is also a placebo. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. You always found that stuff goofy so how do you know it would not have worked for you? You read Sarno's book and immediately concluded it is quack...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
Im sure all medicine changes over time as more is learned. If we stuck by an original conclusion when new evidence presents itself then we would not progress much as a species. andy_pablo, I really am truly sorry for what you endure. But we should stop kowtowing to the doctors. To remove the most t...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
Must ? Why ? He told me that the anesthetic was damaging the nerve. Do you want a copy of my prescription for the injected steroids ? I believe you. No anesthetic on a nerve block??? That must be very very painful. It is insane and unwarranted. The anesthetic damages a nerve?? He must be joking. De...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
I'm sorry but the facts are wrong (at least not true anymore). de B. is not injecting anesthetics, only steroids. (I had two in november '16). Nantes, on the other hand, is dropping steroids. Chenonceau this is not correct. de Bisschop must use an anesthetic. All steroid nerve blocks contain an ane...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
De B is making a general inflammation decreasing injection of corticosteroids which does not really serve as a diagnostic (he rather uses EMG and doppler) Dr Robert is making a diagnostic injection with an anesthetic (+/- corticosteroids) Dr. Robert is using a steroid/anesthetic combination just li...

Re: Surgery and Re-entrapment
Stephanie, You once said that you did not attribute your 6 years of remission to the 2 surgeries you had. Are you still standing by that statement? Listen, I managed to help 6 people that contacted me on this forum get better. If they had all followed the standard advice to go see a PN physician, a ...

Re: Pudendal Neuralgia????
I was undergoing a lot of stress at work...Pain worsens if I have any anxiety or panic attack...it spikes with anxiety and stress This is key information and may point to a somatoform pain syndrome. Especially the fact that your pain started during or shortly after a stressful period. Non-bacterial...
