Hi Clo,
This started for me early november of last year. Its not pain its just hypersensitivity and constant arousal, its hard to get anything done without meds. As for coping, I tried ice it works a bit but meds like cipralex seem to be the only thing helping me with it.

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
Hi Clo, Cipralex/lexapro/escitalopram, so much names for it. Yea, I been taking it for a couple days now. I thought cipralex would be perfect, since I don't know about you but anxiety / stress worsens this so much for me and this lowers it to 0. Though the downside with it is; I can't really think s...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
Is there any other medicine that are not SSRI that work for this? Cipralex did lessen it significantly, it caused some nausea but it lowered over time. My only problem is that I cant think straight with them which affects me in school so I'm kind of looking for another alternative. Any ideas on what...

What dose did they start you out on? Maybe they could lower the dose until you adjust and then slow...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
Are there any natural remedies that can help you sleep through this? Lack of sleep has been such a big problem for me, usually I'm very tired it should take me naturally like 10 minute to go to sleep but with this i see myself checking the time every hour that passes. I went to sleep today at about ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
I have a question.
Could ultrasounds, mri's, ct-scans, and whatever scans there are detect anything irregular?
