Kabootie - Best Seat Cusion for PN
First, I am not a shill for Kabootie, and I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. However, I have been using these cushions for years and have been recommending them for years. I just saw a new DO yesterday who had never heard of them, and she will be getting one for herself. I am also making th...

Wow, that stool would be a torture device for me and my condition. Try the Kabootie from Amazon on any chair. I have 3 of them.

Re: Anyone comfortable in their car?
Before trying to make a seat, the Kabootie from Amazon is the only way I can drive, although for short distances. Give it a try and if it doesn't work you can return it. My amazon associate link for Kabootie - https://amzn.to/3MgT9iF

Re: Mattresses for Bed - Pudendal Nerve issues /Piriformis
Getting a new mattress is very expensive. I went that route without much luck. I then bought a $200.00 mattress topper from Costco, and that did the trick! The good news is if it doesn't work out, you can throw it in your trunk and return it within 30 days. You can also find them on Amazon for as li...

Re: Underwear
I strongly suggest you look into male boxer shorts for the days that appearance isn't an issue. The type they sell at Costco is the best I have tried. Be careful not to get the stretch kind, get the loose kind with the elastic waist band. At some point, this disease requires a rethinking of how you ...

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine - Treatment Plan
It's been a while since I posted on this site. Sadly, my condition deteriorated after numerous tests, injections, PT, and a bad surgery in France. However, I am always looking for any possible way to reduce this intractable pain without being gullible. I recently moved from California (as tens of th...

New to Florida - Recommendations?

Re: Individual doctor Success/ Failure Rates
Unfortunately, the only statistics are from the doctors themselves. Just because they may have published them in journals, does not make them accurate. The only way to have real numbers is through a independent review of every doctor who does these surgeries, which due to cost and indifference, will...
