Might be able to swap mattresses with my son's bed at the weekend rather than kick him out of his lol Hubby will just have to cope for a couple of nights.
I'm sure the travelling probably did aggrevate things, although I wasn't in half as much pain in the car as the trip over.

Mattresses for Bed - Pudendal Nerve issues /Piriformis
I've just returned from 2 weeks at my parents in Ireland, whilst there my pain reduced and I put it down to the fact I was not sat at my desk at work fulltime for 2 weeks therefore giving my Piriformis muscle a good break. Anyhow got home at midnight last night and went off to bed and was in conside...

Re: Booked for Anaes & Steroid Injection to get diagnosis?
Hi Violet,
No my husband will be doing the driving, I have two teenage kids but sure the one will love to sit in the front and other may have to have mums feet on his lap I think I will definitely try lying down if it gets too painful.

Re: Booked for Anaes & Steroid Injection to get diagnosis?
Hi Violet, Yes I was added to a long waiting list :( I am seeing a Physio, he has given me exercises to do every day and I go back to him once a month. I can't find that the exercises he has given me have helped, although they have strengthened some muscles that were not previously used alot  ...

Re: Constipation
I have IBS and was advised to cut out too much Fibre from my diet as it can actually cause Constipation. Was told to include Linseeds in my diet instead.

Booked for Anaes & Steroid Injection to get diagnosis?
Have suffered from pain in one buttock (when sitting/stretching/running) since last October, this then went on to cause nerve problems in the same side leg and all around my pelvic area. I have the actual pain which seems to be in a specific area of my buttock which feels like an ache/muscle pain, b...

Coming off Lyrica/Pregabalin Question for anyone who has
Hi, I am not entirely convinced that Lyrica is helping me at all, my Dr keeps upping the dosage and still I don't think I've seen any improvement, I had my first Physio appt this week and feel this has helped alot, not an instant cure but has definitely had an effect on the affected area immediately...

Re: Newbie looking for Info for Employer regarding condition
Thanks for your reply Violet I firstly suspected Piriformis Syndrome as my pain predominantly started in my left buttock and felt like a knotting/object in my left buttock whenever I sat down but seemed to disapear on standing. But my Dr ruled out Piriformis as nothing showed on the MRI and then sai...
