Re: Phoenix-Hibner

Get help. Michael Hibner M.D. is very good. John Hopkins Hospital and Emory are advanced. I went to France in 2002 - not done in USA. We are advanced now - very. Look at the list of doctor/help on this site. Carlie

Re: First Botox Injection Friday

Hi, I am "Ms X" in Dr. Noor Gajraj's article on Botox for the treatment of PNE. He was a professor at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where my son went to medical school. This was a participation in Peter Jennings of the national news "Pain Week, USA". I had surgery by Pro...

Re: Chronic sexual pain: a layered guide to evaluation

Violet, I flew to Phoenix 24 May 2016, had appts. with HIbner, then cryo with Ray, and then home the next day. I did not respond to the cryo like I had hoped. Kay is pleased overall with cryo. Hibner is will to approach the Alcock canal with the scope and hopefully, release it. I now have arthritis ...

Re: Nerve block by Dr Kay

J - I had a second cyro block by Dr. Kay/HIbner May 25, 2016. I had to fly back to Little Rock via DFW; 4 hour wait and the plane broke down; we waited one hour in line to take off, strapped in the seats. When I finally got home, I drove for 1 1/2 hours to get home. This cryo block hurt scads - like ...

Re: Pain now coming back sooner than past blocks

Branbud, Dr. Kay with St.Josephs, Phoenix, Hibner is doing the cryo blocks. I leave in a couple of weeks and I pray it will help. Emory has had success with theirs. I still have the "egg" I developed (throbs) when I woke up after spinal surgery. The egg hurt more than the spinal surgery. H...

Re: Cryonic Ablashion of the PN

Hi, I had a progressive, disabling right hip pain. I had to edge out of bed in the morning. People can have other things creating pain in addition to PNE. I did. I was at the medical school in Little Rock, and a new doctor told me I had arthritis in the hip (right sided PNE and arthritis. Every six ...

Re: Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI) and Pudendal Nerve

Hi, My SI joint is giving my pain doctor fits. He keeps injecting it (thought it was a tear, unhealed) and is frustrated because nothing seems to help. I fell on my "bottom" accidently prior to a spinal surgery, and during the surgery, I developed PNE. Over time, I developed arthritis in t...

Chris,
May I ask what kind of car seat helped you. Driving is most difficult for me and I have a lot of it to do. Thanks. Carlie

Re: safest laxative?

Kathy, Hi, I hope you are feeling better. I have never heard of anyone taking that much medicine to treat a very common problem of PNE - to the meds I think. I had internal hemorrhoids - no external - and a blockage had formed. I cut the hard med (controlled substance some time ago for it did no goo...

Re: Lyrica Question

Hi, I hope the Lyrica helped you. I took it a couple of months for a different reason. I do not have Fibro; I have had two PNE surgeries and no PT with either and hurt due to not having PT as it was needed. There are a couple of PTs about a hour or so from me now. I got very thin - far too thin and ...
