Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

I will say this. Dr. Prager is over 90% sure that an intrathecal pain pump will take away the PGAD sensations. There's a trial for this. So you would know first if it would work for you. I haven't had the trial done yet. If you don't care about a big tuna can shaped device sticking out of your abdom...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

OH My God I Am dying here! It's been almost a year with PGAD and I"ve done everything under the sun except a vestibulectomy which has been proposed by Dr. Goldstein in San Diego. Still holding off on that idea but shit I don't know what else to do. This has LITERALLY WITHOUT EXAGERATION taken a...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Lucy, People do NOT understand how awful and life-altering this condition is...when I told my primary MD about my PGAD, she actually had the gall to say,"I bet some people would like to have this." You can't understand unless you live it. Violet is right, we have to keep trying everything...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Lucy, Looks like my other post did not go through. My first thought after reading your overwhelming post, was how you were robbed of being a new Mom. Can't even imagine having to deal with PGAD and parent a newborn and young children. The one med I don't see on your list is Xaxan (or another Ben...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi everyone. I actually joined this forum a few months ago but never posted anything. I am so depressed over having PGAD. I got it 6 months ago from a doctor in Orange County, California who was doing a trigger point injection on me to help with the bladder frequency I had been suffering from for 2 ...
