Re: New here - think I have PN ? Or is it a disc bulge?
The rope I always thought was a mini-muscle but then again 50% of the nerves down there are connective tissue so they'd probably have the same tension feel =/. There are muscles that run behind (or above rather) the scrotum and to the sides. My physio jams into them. Once she does that urinary flow ...

Re: New here - think I have PN ? Or is it a disc bulge?
I totally know what you mean by the rope though. There's a big rope, and then there are little internal strings that get pulled. If those internal strings hurt then I will have urinary problems. Look up myofascial trigger points. I had left testicular pain (felt like I got kicked) - and I've had thi...

Re: New here - think I have PN ? Or is it a disc bulge?
Thanks for the post. I think our cases are very similar. It's probably something bio-mechanical and spasm related. I didn't lose the ability to sit down until recently but I did have a pelvic pain episode before that sent me to the ER on two occasions. I know a bodybuilder that had debilitating scia...

Re: New here - think I have PN ? Or is it a disc bulge?
So the neurosurgeon says the disc is not likely the culprit...he has no clue and doesn't pretend to...Better than the urologist saying I didn't use it enough and sent me on my way with Cialis. No suggestions...lol Canada is pretty bad for PNE but I think Nelly will probably be the most helpful. I do...

Re: Need guidence
Hmm this might be un-related, but I had an L5S1 disc bulge revealed after a weight lifting accident. I had sciatic symptoms that progressed into pelvic symptoms that can be characterized by PNE-like symptoms (the list). Throughout the time though, my physios were always talking about my muscular hyp...

Re: Low T, ED, No libido, numb spot on hip, Maybe PNE
Hmm if you had PNE, you would know based on symptoms. If you're afraid of PNE, its probably best to stop cycling before a specialist can assess you or use a perineum friendly seat for the future if you don't have PNE. I have low testosterone as well (doesn't bother me so much), the endocrine system ...

Re: New here - think I have PN ? Or is it a disc bulge?
Did some searches on bodybuilding websites to see how they dealt with it. I'm hoping my muscles are tight, easiest fix: http://tnation.t-nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding_injuries/pudendal_nerve_problem What kind of surgery did you have? What was causing your...

Re: New...scared and need advice please!
Yeah so my symptoms have palpating rectum (feels like a heartbeat). The skin on my butt can go numb'ish - I can still poke and feel pain but it feels as if it's asleep. I would get this orgasmic type numbing in a localized spot in the perineum (orgasms generally flushed this out like your situation)...

Re: New...scared and need advice please!
There's a book called 'Headache in the Pelvis' you may want to check out. I just bought it on Kindle, most of the solutions are in the middle of the book where you'll see diagrams. A lot of the book is like ad space for themselves lol, but they did have the most comprehensive information on the topi...

Re: New...scared and need advice please!
Hey, I have the same issue. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon on Feb 14 but I don't think much will come of it. I also thought it was cauda equina or disc based on the morphology but looking at my own MRI it doesn't appear like any nerve roots are compressed. For me, relaxing, foam rolling, stretching helpe...
