Re: Anyone Have Success W/New Pulsed Low Radiofrequency Abla
I have the highest respect for Dr. Hibner and St. Joe's. I'm glad he is not rushing into only surgery as a treat ment. I found a pain anesthesiologist through Stanford who evidently does pudendal nerve pulsed radio-freq ablation. His name is Dr Jamasbi 510-647-9638. I don't know where you live but h...

Re: constipation meds
This is a very importrant component of pain control especially if you have PNE. You really have to stress this to your physician. There are new meds evidently like Targin that is a combo of Oxycodone and Naloxone ( This inhibits the constipating effect of Oxycodone.) There is also something called R...

Re: post-op PNE success
Hi Debbie, Sorry for all of the following questions, but I have found that PT only worsened my symptoms. I was seeing a pelvic specialist who did trigger point release and gave me exercises so I was wondering if I need to find another PT. Did you find dry needling or cupping helped? How often did yo...

Re: zero-gravity or kneel chairs
Zero gravity chair helps me only if I place another pillow under my calfs. ( A fat pillow) and then a donut beneath the bum. Nothing comes easy,

Re: Platete Rich Plasma Injections for PNE
Dr. Marko Bodor is an excellent doctor and prides himself on finding the cause of your pain. However, insurance does not cover this expense which in his case is $500. I have not yet tried this treatment but am looking at it. Does anyone know of any abreactions?

Re: zero-gravity or kneel chairs
Thanks Violet. I've just ordered a $69 zero gravity chair and will post the results. When I saw Dr. Hibner he said a friend who is an anesthiologist has PNE and is in his chair all day. I wondered why his friend didn't opt for surgery, but I didn't have the presence of mind to ask. It makes me leary...

Re: cushion ideas
I just bought a piece of 5 inch thick foam and cut it in half. Then I carved an eclipse where my lower hamstrings hit the cushion. Put the two in a pillowcase. Then you can arrange the foam pieces where you want them and you have the added benefit of portability and affordibility.

zero-gravity or kneel chairs
I'm new to the forum and feeling increasingly isolated. Thanks to all of you for your participation. After 3 years of symptoms and many doctors, blocks, PT, steroid injections and Botox, I am finally accepting that I have PN. I don't know if I should go to Houston or Dr. Hibner for a dx. It seems th...
