Re: Anyone out there with L5, S1 spinal stenosis?
Alan, I'm doing PT which has made it worse and I'm getting an injection of steriods on Wednesday. I know the doctor thinks it will be just time before I'm in the OR for a laminectomy and fusion. There is not a lot to do for it and it causes severe leg pain and spasms in my legs so badly that my husb...

Apparently, the nerve goes to the Vulva where most of my pain is and my obturator internus is almost none exsistant. An...

Where did the Obturator Internus go?
Hello All, Well, I'm nine months out from surgery on my left side and I went to a new PT because I've moved. She examined me and found my right obturator with no problem then when she checked for the left one, she couldn't find it. Now this is a very highly recommended, experienced PT. After about 5...

Re: Accupuncture
Yes, I do know that accupuncture and accupresure are the same thing and I think that the accupuncture is best. But where do you get the acupressure needles? I've been using a tatting crochet hook. By the way, in your signature, you say that you use different techniques. I can't see it now, but it sa...

Calluna,
What kind of surgery will you have to free the nerve. It's always so interesting to hear what people in other countries are doing for PN.

Re: Tailbone Pain
Chloe,
Thank you for all your suggestions. Fortunatly, if it doesn't hurt, my PT doesn't try to fix it. What I mean is that at my next visit, she'll ask me if my tailbone hurts and if it doesn't, she won't touch it.

Re: Interstistial cystitis
Torbjorn, I have restless leg syndrome, too. It slowly got worse over the years. After my surgery, when I had the pain pump in for three weeks, the RLS disappeared. When the pain from the surgery started after the pain pump was removed, the RLS came back. I take requip for it and my doctor lets me u...

Re: My MRI - please help
Could in just indicate that there in entrapment in that area? That was my case that was confirmed by surgery. But that's interesting Violet, Helen about smaller nerves. Which would those be?
