Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Karyn,

The link you posted regarding Maigne syndrome no longer works. Do you have one which works? The team here in Nantes (prof Rober, Prof Labat, etc) have just said it is a component in my case.

Thanks,
Al

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Hi there, I had two fai/labral repair scopes last year but no genital numbness after surgery. Saying that, my surgeon here in france only used 10-15 minutes of light traction (a technique he is currently teacing to surgeons all over the world), so I wasn't expecting to have any numbness either. I ho...

Re: Leg pain when sitting down

Hi there,

I get some leg pain too, but I have just had a hip scope so it could well be linked to that. It sounds like sciatica to me. I used to get it down the back of then legs and even in my big toe.

Much love
Al

Re: Jaw and PN

Hi there flyer, I just saw your post on TMD and it really spoke to me. I have had it on and off like the PN for a while now and I must admit it does freak me out a bit. Interestingly, I was diagnosed with fai and labral tears on both hips. I was operated on the left side in July and there does seem ...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

No, I'm in France. But it happens all over the place I understand. I imagine that it is quite rare though, so no need to panic. Just keep an eye on the number of shots you have. As I say, in my case it was really excessive and the doctor should have known better. He also denied that it was possible ...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Alex, I'm sorry to hear about the cortisone shots and your adrenal glands. I had about 4 or so PN nerve blocks last year and suffered some very bad mental health issues. Is it because of the adrenal glands? I would be interested to know more. [/quote] Hi Jax (?) I had lots more than four shots (abou...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Hi Lernica, Thanks so much for your post. It is very important for us hipsters. I'm 6 weeks fai/labral tear post op and have the other hip scope planned for later in the year. So I guess my year of rehab will only start in November :) I also had a peroid of anxiety and depression. Some of it was dow...
