Re: Colonoscopy PN damage/flare?
I can tell you that beyond a shadow of a doubt the Colonoscopy that I had in April 2012 either tremendously aggravated or CAUSED my pudendal issues that I still have to this day. Ironically, I have been going through all my medical records dating back to when I initially got sick in Feb 2012, in ord...

Re: getting off Cymbalta
I went off Cymbalta and paid dearly. Had the worst flare of my life that put me in bed for almost 2 months. I started back on it at 60 mg and within 4 weeks I went from a 9/10 pain level down to a 4. Now, I sit 6 hours a day and got SOME of my life back. BTW - Cymbalta patent expires in December... ...

Re: Neurostimulation Dr. in Ohio for PN patients
Amanda, I forgot to tell you a real important piece of information. My surgical wound was covered with Derma-Bond! According to my wife, this stuff is like a second "skin". I dont have any stiches or staples holding it together on the outside. I think this explains why my Dr. is so liberal...

Re: Neurostimulation Dr. in Ohio for PN patients
Hi Molly - Thanks for the well wishes .. sorry about the late response. I did have the surgery last Friday, and it was quite uneventful. The procedure itself is fairly easy, and I only spent like 6 hours at the hospital. The days that have followed the surgery havent been as easy unfortunately. I ha...

Re: anyone have this?
I am on 130 mg of Morphine and Percocet a day.. I take up to 8 Colace caps/day, two per meal usually and 2 right before bed. I also eat about 6-8 prunes as a snack, and drink 8 oz of prune juice right before bed. After trying Ducolax, Miralax, and Citrucel (with no relief) I changed things up after ...

Re: Neurostimulation Dr. in Ohio for PN patients
Paulette - Thanks for posting the info regarding this doctor in Michigan doing the PNS.. I am having the SCS implanted on May 3rd 2013 so it really got me thinking. I dont like to leave any stone unturned, so I did some internet google research and found the abstract that studied PNS by this doctor....

I echo everyone else in saying I am very sorry to here that your father passed... These are tough times for you, hang in there and be strong. Things will get better again Paulette.
