Hope this is okay to post here. I read Dr. Conway is out on leave because of having surgery. Does anyone know when he will be returning to see patients or if he ever will?
Thanks,
Rea

Re: Am I getting better or worse?
Violet Reading posts and saw this. You once said my symptoms were a lot like yours. Think Ive been in progression. One year since pn block and gradually noticing burning more. Right after I finally got brave enough to voice it. We also just got a hot tub, trying to do exercises for pelvis, and bladd...

Re: PNE/PN and Sexual Disability
When my pn symptoms first started, I was desperate. I was offered a consultation with the doctor in Houston (don't think he does the surgery anymore). If I had not read and listened to the advice from here, I would have had the surgery and been in a world of trouble. After returning from that trip i...

labral tear
I was told in Ga. I had a small labral tear and possible FAI. Dr. Byrd just told me no FAI and tear might be natural. His PA kept asking me about pn and showed me one of Popeney's test that was negative. She had all his reports where one showed "possible" pn but didn't show that. She said ...

Re: I think i have PN
I am sorry to hear about your pain. I was diagnosed with PN in Oct. 2012. Since then, I've been diagnosed with 6 other hip problems. I have to think that one or more of these caused my PN. So many end up having other pelvic issues and unfortunately, it can take time and seeing doctor after doctor to...

Re: Owe St. Joesph's over $9,300 thanks to Code Mistake
Yea for you too..all it takes for ins. Companies to get out of paying is the wrong coding. But I thought if a network provider doesn't pay for something, then the patient cannot be held responsible for that amount. It happened with pm. They did a nerve conduction study that wasn't pre approved. My i...

Re: Owe St. Joesph's over $9,300 thanks to Code Mistake
Wrote a letter so appeal to ins. They pushed it through and paid over 8,000. Hospital had took off 75% but guess they're happy with payment. Thought I owed about 1,700 instead of the 2,400 and was told I had to do another assistance form but then got letter saying balance of 634.00 minus 400 & s...

Re: New..my story. seeking advice...thoughts. Thank you!
Hi Sam, I'm sorry for your pain. I too was a teacher with enough sick days to go to Houston where they concurred with my self diagnosis and did my paperwork for early retirement. It was approved. I sent in articles about PN with my application, When I look back at all I went through, I don't see how...

Re: Possible new sufferer looking for some help please
Hello Roger, I have been on Gabapentin for over a year. At first, I felt light headed and could barely walk, much less drive. My PM doc increased me each month until I got to 600 four times a day. I could drive except for the pain, not the medicine. As for the weight issue, I've always been active a...

Re: sijd and piriformis surgery
Helen, Thank you so much. Yes, that is very helpful to know. I was given the name of Dr. Byrd in Nasville, Tn. Pain management and my PT for aftercare of si fixation and PR also encourages me to wait. I do not have a PN PT. Where I live makes that an impossible goal. But lately, I'm back to despair ...
