Re: Continuing saga
Thank you for the great information. I actually am being treated at Stephanie's practice not by her but by a PT within her firm. She also believes I don't have entrapment but possible irritation in one of the branches. We are working on trigger points and skin rolling to try to relieve the symptoms....

Re: Continuing saga
Thanks Helen and Violet Yeah things are definitely better than weeks 1-8, that was practically crippling pain. Still though it interfers with my day to day and my pt doesn't want me doing exercise other than walking light swimming and yoga. While I wasn't a jock I do miss working out in gym, biking,...

Re: Very scared and have questions about PNE..
Just in case it would return a herpes test is advisable. I have been going through similiarities but more chronic and severe symptoms and thought possible std. After testing so far this is not the case, but in my very extensive research I have found herpes visually digiagnosed wrong 60% of the time ...

Potters contact information
I was wondering if anyone has contacted Dr Potter to send her protocol for the 3t MRI to their local imaging center. I have recently had a 3t MRI, non Potter style, of my lower back and pelvis which has turned up nothing out of the norm that could be causing my condition. They did see a small lesion...

Re: Physical therapy does it work
Hi Janet Thanks for your reply. Yes the pt I am seeing is one from Stephanie Prendergrast and Elizabeth Rummer's office who I found are some of the best in the business. So I think I am in good hands, I was wondering the capabilities of a PT in treating this, which you have given a good answer to. I...

Re: Is this PN?
Ok went to the neurologist, he did a physical exam found numbness in upper thighs and hypersensitive in right rear thigh, sciatic area. He didn't think I had PN because my symptoms were so diffuse and mainly associated outside the groin area. Did not warrant an MRI even though I mentioned it. He did...
