Re: TG Approach - glutes not cut
Yes, I just saw Dr. Winfree recently. He does the TG method of surgery. Dr. Winfree said his method is going to be similar to Dr. Filler or Dr. Conway. Although, he made recovery sound less extensive than I have heard about. I guess one would not know about recovery until they actually had the surge...

Re: Has ANYONE been helped by Pelvic Varices Surgery?
I had a bilateral pelvic vein embolization done. Zero pain relief, a pelvis full of coils, took 2 hours in the OR and plenty of radiation to place coils. Now I cannot get a good MRN scan of my pelvis as I have too many coils. My last hip doctor was not impressed with the coils either. I have heard f...

Re: acupuncture
Shana, I was just now discussing acupuncture with my husband tonight. I had talked with a PN doctor's office staff and she recommended I try it. I did once actually, but the person was not experienced enough in pelvic pain. I think I am going to try it again. I say why not! Too bad I do not live clo...

Staying on Staten Island is much less expensive. You would have to take the ferry and subway and/or bus but still save a lot. All modes of transport I mentioned allow standing.

Re: pne symptoms?
Nerve irritation or inflammation can cause itching, even vaginal itching. As for the discharge, I can only make guesses. Hormonal changes, immune response, etc (you stated cultures were negative). Sometimes, a cause cannot be found. That is even more frustrating. In regards to intercourse, yes I hav...

Hi Momof3! Welcome to the board. Although, I am sorry you are dealing with pudendal nerve issues/foot pain. I wanted to answer you the best I could, as I have a little experience with the tests you are to have. The feeling of a blood pressure cuff around your vagina/foreign object "could" ...

Re: Is there a way to kill the nerve to clitoris
Hi Judy, I am sorry you are so miserable. Have you tried medication for your PGAD or seen a PN doctor? I know there are studies about PGAD and dilated pelvic veins potentially causing PGAD. Maybe you could check into seeing if you have an enlarged clitoral vein as a possibility. Sometimes certain he...

Re: Possible PN and hoping for help!
I had an ultrasound for hernia last week, came up dry for me. I would definitely still check into it though. PN is such a mystery issue sometimes. UGH!

You just had surgery for an abscess and now going to the gym...woah! I agree with Helen, I bet you wife is going bonkers! You have got to let yourself heal some. Even after childbirth you have to "cool it" for at least 6 weeks! Please be careful!!! Yes, would like to hear about the cushion...

Re: flying for surgery
RJ- I could not have made it in the car that long. I agree pure torture! I am so sorry you had to go through that. Yes, flying for sure! I was more scared to fly, then I realized it was not so bad with an extra seat and meds. I hope you heal quickly and are on your way to a full recovery!
