Re: Post Pudental nerve decompression surgery
Hi Milly, I had PNE surgery with Dr. Hibner in 2007. I stayed in bed for the first 3 months, only leaving to walk outdoors (10 minutes) every 2 hours. I returned to work after the 3 months part time, standing. Avoided sitting as much as possible for about 1.5 - 2 years post op. I had a great physica...

Re: Hibner or Dellon or someone else?
I recommend Dr. HIbner. I was his 20th surgical patient back in 2007. I am 95% better...only have a flare up if I sit for hours without getting up. I need to use my sit/stand desk more often.. Best of luck to you!

Re: Anyone in Colorado?
Hi - better late than never! The PT I saw for years was Dawn Sandalcidi. She was trained by Stephanie P. and is VERY knowledgeable about PN. Pelvic pain is one of her her specialties. http://ptspecialist.com/bio.asp I could not have gotten through the pre or post op phase without her (Surgery with H...

Re: Question from newbie

He has done internal trigger point injections on me so many times I can't count (with lidocaine, marcaine, and steroids at times). Thankfully I have not neede...

Re: Interview with Dr Hibner and Stephanie Pregergast
I had pain at my sit bones after I started sitting all the time again...my pain doctor actually suggested I had developed ischial bursitis. He injected the bursa with lidocaine/steroids two times within one year...it totally helped my sit bones. Just a thought...

Re: Tailbone Pain
Kate, I also experienced tailbone pain after surgery - not immediately after, maybe a year after?? My PT also showed me via internal work how all the PF muscles attach to the tailbone/coccyx area. If your PF is in spasm it can actually cause your coccyx to come out of alignment. I had several coccyx...

Re: We are the best looking sick people I've ever seen
Kat, Your post made me smile! :) It brings back memories of when I was first being diagnosed. An arrogant urog/gyno said to me "Well you certainly don't look sick." Little did he know I was hanging on by a thread. I asked my husband what I had to do to be taken seriously...not take ...
