Re: Diagnosis / SO happy to have found this forum!

Hi Violet, I apologize for not responding sooner. I have been going to PT and doing stretches and external work at home. Its been extremely helpful. I have flare ups. Its a long road ahead but I believe this will be the key to my recovery. Nothing invasive. I am favoring conservative measures at thi...

Re: Diagnosis / SO happy to have found this forum!

I am going to a physiotherapist on Tuesday.

I am starting to believe that my problem is CPPS and not an issue of the pudendal nerve.

Re: Diagnosis / SO happy to have found this forum!

I've had the strong symptoms for roughly 6 weeks or so. The only other issue I recall was the strange feeling in my groin with certain movements. I don't think my case is severe because I am not in enough pain to stop me from doing most day to day tasks. For instance, I still can sit (I alter betwee...

Hello Everyone, I am a 26 year old male. I am so happy I have found this forum. I have felt like no one understands what I'm going through! My whole experience started with waking up in the middle of the night with discomfort from an erection / sexual arousal. It wasn't extreme pain, but rather pres...

Re: Please Help! Exercise Induced ?

Actually I forgot to mention... There was one particular day where I went to the hospital because it felt as though I was being electrocuted in my perineum! The only thing that would stop it was anti-inflammatory suppository. The doctor called it "refereed pain" from my prostatisis.

Re: Testicular tingling. PNE?

Elmwood,

I too have these exact symptoms. I noticed my testicles get very close to my body too when I'm cold and actually when I'm exercising.

I'vet yet to be diagnosed with PNE (doctor told me it is prostatisis) but the more research I do the more it seems like PNE.

Re: Please Help! Exercise Induced ?

Hi Helen,

Thank you so much for your comments.

Does anyone know?

Is it still safe to attempt pushups?

If I give it a rest is it possible the nerve will repair itself and I can continue exercising eventually?

I really appreciate the info!
