Re: sciatica
Hi Ellie, I have been diagnosed with 'a complex variant of the piriformis syndrome involving the sciatic, pudendal and superior gluteal nerves from a Dr Filler consult in London a couple of years ago. I think this has been my most succinct and correct diagnosis given my symptoms (they wanted to giv...

Re: Physical therapy successes?
Hello everyone! I am happy to share that I have found some relief and was even pain free for a few hours at work while wearing my TENS unit. I just got it last week, and I could definitely feel the difference between the times that I wore it and the times that I took it off. Has anyone found long te...

Re: Getting Together
I'd love to see some folks get together here in MN. It'd be great to have someone understand what's going on for once! Any takers?

Re: Intro for new MN patient diagnosed with PN
Have you called the University of Minnesota Fairview system for an evaluation? I don't know what they have there, but they are a comprehensive clinic and have many specialists. Mayo Clinic does not do any pudendal evaluations. They refer to Dr. Antolak. I did talk to someone at the U and they said ...

Re: Intro for new MN patient diagnosed with PN
Thanks everyone for your replies! Its so nice to know that there are other people out there! I definitely have the same feelings about my diagnosis, that the symptoms don't match too well to the things I've read about PN. The pain while sitting is definitely apparent and when he was testing the lowe...

Intro for new MN patient diagnosed with PN
Hello everyone! My name is Mel and I live just south of the Twin Cities in MN. I've had a very painful and busy 8 weeks but was recently diagnosed with PN by Dr. Antolak at his Edina clinic. I am nervous and hesitant on his diagnosis but I thought I would join the forum and ask some questions, as of...
