Re: Can piriformis syndrome cause pudendal pain HELP...
I have found that the Graston Technique is very painful, yet has reduced significant pain in my gluteal seam and perineal seam. My Chiroprator focused on my Piriformis and my hamstring and inner thigh - am I bruised, yes - was it painful, yes - was I able to work all weekend without pain and ice - y...

Re: Genitofemoral, Illioinguinal and Illiohypogastric resect
Karyn - thank you for this thoughtful response. I just went back to the Dr. and asked if I could take genitofemoral out of the resection, and he would just do illioinguinal and illiohypogastric. I have searing pain in my inner medial thigh that spreads when I sit. Can you describe the resulting numb...

Genitofemoral, Illioinguinal and Illiohypogastric resection
I am seriously considering having the Genitofemoral, Illioinguinal and Illiohypogastric resected by Dr. Eckhauser at JHU. I've had inguinal to medial thigh pain and painful sitting for 5 years and Drs. have consistently come back to these nerves - although no nerve block has ever worked. Has anyone ...

Re: Can piriformis syndrome cause pudendal pain HELP...
I've had it all - internal, external - years of pt, hot yoga, cold yoga, accupuncture, rolling, art, you name it. I've had a botox injection in my piriformis and my obturator internus (I have a great pain guy - who will basically do whatever I propose). the botox did help some, but I'm not positive ...

Re: Can piriformis syndrome cause pudendal pain HELP...
Well yes, yes I did. I had arthroscopic surgery on my right hip - now my hip is better but all of my pain when sitting remains. so clearly that was not the source - maybe it contributed to the piriformis syndrome. I'm very hesitant to accept any decompression surgery or surgery for that matter after...

Re: Can piriformis syndrome cause pudendal pain HELP...
I'm sure i'm late to this discussion and maybe this has been stated. There are multiple articles stating that Piriformis syndrome can cause sacral nerve and pudendal nerve irritation - resulting in the painful sitting issue. I haven't resolved my issue yet but this has been working for me some: 1. P...

Re: Acetabular Labral Tears
I'm newer to this site - i've had PNE symptoms for 3 years, but have a labral tear and have done tons of research on the pain symptoms of labral tears. I guess if the tear is in the right spot, it can cause significant referred pain into your genitals, pain when sitting and burning in the perineum. ...

Re: Acetabular Labral Tears
Hello - I am new to this site and in 2 weeks I will go in for a labral tear repair. Leading up to this surgery I have been diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia, chronic prostatitis and SI Joint Dysfunction - none of these diagnoses were based on pathology or clinical findings, just my symptoms. I have ...
