and I forgot to say to DES that I am really pleased that you survived the stress of the trial ... good on you for speaking up (without tears) and I really hope that you get this next stage worked out so that you can get right on top of the stressful situations and have some relief... I'll be back soon

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

HI everyone, I've been a while between reports as well, warm weather and a nerve block have given me about a 10% improvement, not much I know but anything on the up side is good. More details later .... at the moment I am wondering if anyone can explain why my 'outbox' shows messages when I believe ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi girls, Des, it must have been a bit of a let down having the adjournment but on the bright side you could call it a reheasal, and from what you've said you about seeing the intruder the worst part is over, well done !! Keep positive about the Lyrica, we never know when we just might 'strike gold'...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi everyone, I have a question that I would appreciate some feedback on. I have noticed that my PGAD gets a lot worse on cold days and I was wondering if anyone else had the same. My 'team' at the hospital raise their eyebrows at this statement but they don't dismiss it. Where I live a lovely warm d...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Stargazer, welcome, I have PGAD and when I read your comments I was very much reminded of the first paragraph of my own "symptom history" that I put together to take to medicos in search of answers. Browse this site and see what you find that is comparable to yourself, it may help you d...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Lernica,
I love the extra image of us all being pain-free, you've got me wondering what could happen if I put this on a "Christmas Wish List", let's face it, we've all tried every other silly idea to find answers

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

I agree 100% with everything that's been said over the last couple of days, Des, I'm sure you will find that your counsellor will have done a lot of research by the time you see her next, she will need to know all about it to be able to offer her help and I took heaps of printed matter to my counsel...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi everyone, Des in particular .. Quite some time ago I heard someone talking about us human beings and they said "we think we can't take any more, and then we do" and you are living proof of that !!! One of my early visits to my clinic, before they were fully staffed, I was talking to som...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi everybody, Kate ..... The people at the "chronic pelvic pain" clinic at the Womens Hospital share information with the clinic in Sydney, and when I had my botox block done it was Dr Thierry Vancaille who came from Sydney to do it. He didn't come just for me, he was coming to do a study ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Des, I'm pleased to hear about your report from the colonoscopy, I remember now that I also had diminished PGAD for quite a few hours after as well. Maybe it's a side effect/benefit of general anaesthetic .... It's good that you will be able to control your diverticulitis, you seem to like to kee...
