Re: Surgery Recovery

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say that I am having a lot of burning down the back side of my left thigh. I had been taking a larger dose of Zanax after my dog died early in my recovery. Now my doctor has been reducing that amount so I'm back to taking the same amount I took before the surgery. Xanax w...

Re: Surgery Recovery

I have been put on increased amounts of what I call "head meds" by my therapist. I think due to the surgery and the added emotional stress of Maxx dying; I was in a downward spiral. I began having anxiety attacks during the day and a dread of going to bed. She has upped my Xanax and Lamict...

Re: Surgery Recovery

Thanks to all for taking an interest in my recovery. I have finished my third week of recovery. I had an emotional setback when my dog of 11 months was hit and killed by a car. With the snowstorm keeping me at my daughters three more days and having my dog die while I was gone was horrible. I'm tryi...

Re: Prayers for Dr Eduard Quesada and wife

Living in RI I did not know of Dr. Quesada's story until recently. I had seen him three times for injections at the Eliot Hospital. I remember him as being a very sweet, concerned physician. Whatever happened in this awful situation, I am sending him my prayers and prayers to his young daughter. I h...

Re: Surgery Recovery

I'm into the end of my second week. Surgery was 2/23. I still have some numbness in the posterior area. I have been off all pain meds for one week today. I use ice for some burning I get occasionally. Tylenol for more discomfort. Dr. Conway is a great doctor but I feel he has done so many of theses ...

Re: Pudendal Nerve Decompression Surgery?

Hi, I just had PND surgery. I had all of the symptoms and tried all of the treatment modalities except Botox and acupuncture. I have posted a dialogue regarding my surgery. Dr. Conway performed the surgery 1/23/13. On one side the nerve had split and twisted around a ligament. The other side had sca...

Surgery Recovery

I had bi-lateral nerve decompression surgery last Weds. 1/23/13. So far it's been an emotional, physical, and mental roller coaster. I'm hoping there are people who want to help me with prayer, affirmation, visualization, etc. I'm going to try and make a daily visit to the forum. If anyone has quest...

Re: TG surgery pending

On Cymbalta, most of the outlying problems abated somewhat, however, I started having more problems in the local area. Karyn and Wendy: Itching, tingling, and painful intercourse which had never been relieved. Dr. Conway stated this past August that some speialists advise agsinst taking because it m...

Re: TG surgery pending

Thanks, Wendy. As the date approaches for my surgery I am having more and more fears. Your email has certainly made me feel better. Why did you need the second surgery? I am having the unilateral decompression surgery. I do like Dr. Conway and trust his instincts, I'm just so concerned about the rec...
