Re: I'm back - things have changed (a little)

Normally I would agree with you - but if anything I would say my buttock muscles feel like they are wasting. In fact I had wondered if that might be what was causing the pain - ie lack of padding.

I'm back - things have changed (a little)

It's a while since my last post. I've just been trying to get on with life as best I can. However over the last few weeks I have noticed a change and I wondered if this was common/usual. When I was last here my problem was predominantly my lower back (centre). Sitting for any period of time was real...

What is your trigger?

I mentioned in another thread that I can have good periods - sometimes lasting several days. But then something 'triggers' a flare up which can last for hours or days. One trigger for me is a visit to the cinema - presumably the seats. I would be interested from hearing from anyone who has periods o...

Re: I'm back! With a question.

One thing which almost always seems to ensure a flare up is a visit to the cinema. There must be something about the seats in there. A couple of hours in there can cause me pain for the next 24/48 hours. I am going to start a new thread with a better title to see if I can relate to anyone else's tri...

I'm back! With a question.

I was here a little while ago and more or less came to the conclusion that my problems were not down to PN. But now....I'm not so sure. The one thing I do know is that this comes closer than anything else I have seen to describing how I feel. And trust me I have considered many things. I have a ques...

Re: Am I in the right place? Could this be PN?

I think you may be correct - the pain is for the most part confined to the sacral region. The desk is a nice idea - unfortunately I work for myself - and that is out of my budget. I will continue my search. Thank you to everyone who has taken time to reply. I sincerely hope that you are all able to ...

Re: Am I in the right place? Could this be PN?

Hi Violet I will try and describe in a little more detail. 1) In an average day I wake up (more or less) pain-free. 2) I work at a desk, so by late morning/midday I am starting to get a dull, nagging ache in the sacral/coccyx area. (I have got used to calling it back ache - but in truth it isn't rea...

If I am honest most of the ache seems to be central.
