Re: Standing in the need...cannot sit.
Hi, How much do other folk's pain scale range? In response to your question...My pain is mostly a constant annoyance, but some days it is worse. I wish I could figure out why it is so random. A constant annoyance doesn't sound so bad and I do consider myself lucky, however I just wish this annoyance...

Re: Standing in the need...cannot sit.
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that many of the symptoms you are describing are almost exactly the same as mine were when I first started with PN about 3 yrs ago. My pain is on my left side and affects the left side of my vagina, buttock, sit bone area, hip, and down my left leg. Not always...

Re: physical therapy questions
Jamie, My problem is exactly that. This whole thing started because my left vulvar area hurt to sit. I would be in so much pain at work and driving was awful. I do experience other pain areas too, but none bother me like that one area. I had surgery and was out from work for 10 wks. After that, my w...

Re: physical therapy questions
Jeannie, I will definitely keep you up to date on my therapy. 6 mos is still early so stay optimistic. I went for therapy today. We only worked on the external part of my body. The good news is my therapist is going to Chicago in March for a conference. The conference is 3 days. One of the days is o...

Re: physical therapy questions
Hi Jamie and Jeannie, Thanks for the responses. I guess I will give it a try. Hopefully it won't hurt. Jamie, are you new to PN? I wish you luck in getting well. Jeannie, I see you had TG surgery. I had the TIR. Do you feel the TG surgery has helped you? Are you better then before surgery. I have co...

physical therapy questions
Hi all, I am wondering if anyone can help me with a couple questions. There are no physical therapist that are specifically trained in PN therapy where I live. I found one that has heard of it and has treated one other person with it. I don't know the specifics about that person or the outcome. I ha...

Hi Mom, I am a mother of two girls. I have had PN pain for over 2 yrs. I am constantly thinking thank god this happened to me and not one of them. I just wanted to offer you understanding and hope. I will pray for your little angel. A child should not have to endure this pain. Keep your faith strong...

Re: Out of options, Fearful - Told I must do Surgery or Med
Hi, I agree that you should research all the different doctors and procedures they do. I had the TIR surgery in New Hampshire. It is about a 4 hr drive. I stayed in a hotel with someone there with me the whole time. For the first few days I layed in the bed and read and watched TV and enjoyed conver...

Re: What does the long hold for PN sufferers
Yes, we have all been in the place you are. What treatments have you had so far? I am with Hermastesy. You have to keep researching. You have to talk to doctors about what you learn. This is still so unknown with the medical community that we have to inform them of what we learn. This will help them...
