Hi,
That actually is great news. Glad to hear that you are receiving some pain relief. Is this something permanent that the doctors have placed for you or is this something that is temporary?
Take care,
Wendy

Hi Dorothy, I wished I could help you answer this question, but I don't have any knowledge on cryoablation. However, I would suggest that doing non invasive treatments first, before doing invasive treatments. It is always hard to tell how a person is going to make out, with invasive treatments. Thin...

Hi Jaxi, It's good to see you on the forum! It's been a long time, I hope that you are doing well. I have been out of the loop for a very long time. But, I did have the platelet therapy, with Dr. Hibners surgery. I can't say if it was helpful or not, as it wasn't a stand alone treatment. Were you th...

Hi Bongo, This would be hard to know if it is related to PN, as there could be so many reasons for this happening to you. Anything from medications, to diabetes, to low hormones and neuropathy, previous surgeries, etc. Have you seen your doctor about this to rule out any other issues that may be goi...

Re: Seeking help for my husband
Hi Paulab, I'm sorry to hear about the issues that your husband is having. It sounds like he is getting depressed over not getting the answers that he is looking for in his current issues. I do no know where you are from, but if there is a pudendal nerve issue, there are some things that I would sug...

Hi,
You can also get a nerve conduction test on the pudendal nerve. Getting a correct diagnosis, before finding treatment is so important. I wish you the best with this.
Take care,
Wendy

Re: Dr Hibner or Dr Conway? Other operation issues
Hello, Dr. Conway no longer does the TIR approach. He only does the TG approach, for surgery. Both are good men, I've had surgery with Dr. Conway, and Dr. Hibner. Both are really good men. I don't know which would be better. Dr. Conway will follow you through surgery, from the time you get it, until...

Re: EMG With Dr Gordon, Toronto
Hello, Sorry I didn't get back to you on this. It looks like you already had the EMG done a couple of days ago? I hope that you can post your experience with it. My recollection of the EMG testing is having probes right at the rectal area, with some shocks, internal testing via the vagina and then a...
