Hyperbaric Oxygen and Pelvic Pain (IC)
http://www.icnsales.com/blog/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy-for-pelvic-pain.html Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been studied for some time for IC, primarily in Germany if I remember correctly. Here’s an interesting reference to a paper in Italy! – Jill The use of the hyperbaric oxygenation therapy in urol...

When you sit, do you feel like you are losing circulation?
I believe Dr. Hibner's office might have begun doing something to shrink veins in the area... A's Mommy knows more about that.

Re: Has anyone tried INVERSION TABLES?
I know inversion tables are good for some spine problems, not sure how they help pudendal. I had a half inversion table where you bend halfway upside down, and doing so hurt my neck as I supported myself up and down... so I don't recommend that... as I was a wimp from all this laying around... and m...

Re: New to the Forum--New to PNE
I wonder if Dr. Aszmann's surgery (in austria) would help you out. AliPasha on the forum had it. It removed many of the penile symptoms for him. Is your truck old or new? Yes your symptoms are quite normal... avoid sitting at all costs to stabilize... to keep it from worsening. Have you been checked...

Re: how long before return to work after surgery?
that's nice that they offered to get you a recliner. it means they are being considerate. what you will need to tell them is that you'll need a sofa and space for it, as ultimately, a recliner will flare you up. You need to be mostly flat. With a laptop and a couch, you can work, and keep reposition...

Re: Low Back pain
I know I'm a little late in the game to add this, but my sacrum always hurts too.. laying on it flares me, but flares me less than sitting.
Icing it helps.
I have to move around a lot all the time when I lay down.

Re: Pain referred from one side to the other?
I heard that Dr. Hibner said in surgery he only finds problems unilaterally most of the time, even though pain is bilateral. Don't know if I believe him, but then, I've never operated on anyone. But I feel my pain bilaterally. However it's worse on my right side. I figure, since the nerve also funct...

Re: EMG Procedure
Donna, I've suffered almost 9 years as well. I am glad you finally found some companions in your pain... it's so much better to know you're not alone. as to the emg, it is not too reliable... I had it done way back when... hope it proves to show some info for you. If not, the 3tesla MRI with Hollis ...
