Re: 3T MRN new mathematical approaches

Janet, I found out that dr. Chhabra does mri guided pudendal injections. I'm debating on doing it with him vs. Dr. Richard just because of the CT radiation. I'm wondering if it is worth it to get the mrn with him as well. Did you ever find out if therwas any coorelation with ur mrn and surgerical fi...

Re: MRI/MRN

Cindy, Are you positive you can not get an MRI. I was told by my doctor that they can interrogate the pump, then you go for the MRI, and then back to get the pump turned back on.

Do you have the pump for PN or for other reasons??

Dr. Dellon, and docs in MD.

I live in Marayland and just noticed Dr. Dellon. I would like to stay close to home as I am in too much pain to travel. Does Dr. Dellon only do this Dorsal procedure, does he do any pudendal testing or blocks? Does he accept any insurance? I called my insurance and he is no longer in the blue cross ...

Re: Entrapment or just pudendal irritation

Marcus, thank you for sharing that. Your words are very encouraging and put things in perspective. I feel for you. Those same dark thoughts have crossed my mind as well and I think it is only natural in certain situations. I have considerable chronic pain from my spinal cord injury from the neck dow...

Re: Entrapment or just pudendal irritation

I know. The thought of having it done is extreme. I have been contemplating it for 2 months. The surgeon does research in pelvic health. She said my pelvic floor was basically having pulsating spasms after some light palpation. She suggested giving it a "rest" for a while. BM's are or were...

Re: Entrapment or just pudendal irritation

Last week I had a Ganglion Impar block. While it improved the ease of my bowel movements temporarily it did not help with my deep rectal pain. My PT said that my levator ani was not tense or shortened at all while that block was in effect. However, she palpated along the corse of the pudendal and I ...

Re: Dr. Marvel - does not accept insurance?!

For the record, my insurance company will reimburse me for Dr. Marvels charges since he is in my network as Janet pointed out. However should I require expensive procedures or surgery I am going to need one of those special black member American Express cards for high rollers, as i own no house to m...

Re: Dr. Marvel - does not accept insurance?!

Definitely not fair! But I am going to call the insurance company anyway. Thanks so much for asking Janet :) I had my wife call to make an appointment, after taking her insurance info they asked for her name. She then said the appointment was for her husband (me). At that point the lady explained tha...
