Re: Insprico CX cushion
For those who have gotten insurance to pay for the roho cushion - was the rx from the doctor enough or was there additional information you needed to provide? Just curious since the website says its a wheelchair cushion and my insurance is impossible when it comes to paying for medical equipment tha...

Re: Merrie's Dr Galinkin MRI Result
Thanks for your feedback Pianogal. I had a similar thought after thinking about this all day. I have been trying to do some research on the internet and have not come up with anything more on point. Im frustrated the MRI does not say anything more specific re/ the dorsal nerve. Im going to see if I ...

Re: Merrie's Dr Galinkin MRI Result
And sorry all this is under Elizabeth and not my normal log in which is Merrie. I lost my username and password at one point and had set this up as a separate log in. Apparently my computer here at work remembered that since I usually do not post at work.
Thanks!

Merrie's Dr Olga Kalinkin MRI Result
Hello All: Got my MRI report in the mail today from my MRI with Dr Kalinkin. I'm kind of freaking out since I don't understand what it means and I don't have an appt. with Dr Hibner until next week. Curious if anyone has any thoughts: "There is preserved fat planes surrounding the pudendal nerv...

Re: Seriously addicted to tramadol?
I agree with everything posted. Do not change your meds without the advice and assistance of an expert pain managament doctor and do not let drs or PAs who are not experienced with patients with chronic pain scare you about physical dependence. People like us with chronic intolerable pain need pain ...

For what its worth, pushing shopping carts, vacuuming, and walking up hill all cause me the same type of pain. Not sure why but it always does.

Re: Menstrual Cycle
With respect to the IUD - my neurologist and gynecologist were not in favor of it for me. Specifically, my neurologist said there are a lot of sympathetic nerves in the female cervix and that for someone with chronic neuropathic pelvic pain, simply crossing the cervical area to put the IUD in in or ...

Re: Autoimmune disease/Fibromyalgia
There are many autoimmune diseases associated with PNE. I recall there was a long list posted on the pudendal info site. I have had high positive ANA tests over the past 2 years and have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. My rheumatologist does not know if the two are related since I have ma...

Re: Nerve Block Experiences
My last pudendal block caused me a 2 month flare that was horrendous! But my first 2 did provide me with some much needed short term releif (4-8 weeks). I have had much greater sucess in terms of pain management from S2 and S3 steroid epudural injections, botox and from pelvic sympathetic blocks. An...
