Pelvic and/or SI joint instability post surgery

Has anyone had SI joint or pelvic instability post laproscopic decompression surgery after having the SS ligament cut? I am scheduled for surgery in July and want to have all the information on this first. It seems that of the 3 doctors who perform this that I consulted with, none were able to point...

Re: Sciatica pain after PN block

After the nerve block, I went to see my urologist with many concerns about my pain and new symptoms, but she denied seeing me in the future. She said that she is Off of her limits. It was very shocking for me. I found a very good urologist, K. Peters, through this site, who has worked with PN patie...

Re: Sciatica pain after PN block

Re: Sciatica pain after PN block

Camelote- I just talked with Dr Hibner and he said that it likely irritated the piraformis muscle. I got some dry needling and mild stretching and it helped for several hours. He said he can botox that muscle if it won't stop spasming.
I'm definitely not doing another one!

That being said, the hospital I go to is a teaching hospital and the residents to all of the procedures. So maybe it's not the most accu...

Sciatica pain after PN block

I had a pudendal nerve block with steroid about 3 weeks ago. Starting at day three I began having sciatica down my leg. It goes from my glutes to my foot. The block only worked on one side, but took the symptoms on that side away. I've also had tailbone pain and just a weak feeling in my legs like I...
