Hibner's out-of-pocket costs
Does anyone know what Hibner's costs (before any ins. reimbursement) for decompression surgery have been since he stopped taking insurance?
I don't want to drain my life-savings for a surgery that might not work and may even make thinks worse. haha

Re: Are there any surgeons in the USA who do laparoscopic pudendal release surgery?
It seems like we keep losing surgeons. Wasn't there a guy in Houston, Dr Ansell, that stopped doing surgeries?

I haven't seen him yet but I was concerned because of something I heard him say.

Re: Drs. Hibner and Conway
Thanks April.
Did Dr. Hibner make you go through a round of PT? I've been through several rounds and I don't see the point of doing a round through a PT that he is in contact with.

Drs. Hibner and Conway
Has anyone seen both Dr. Hibner and Dr. Conway to see if they gave different advice or had different approaches?

Re: Discomfort and numbness at the same time
Violet, Thanks for your response. Have you heard of other men who have had such irritation after drinking fluid, alcohol, caffeine, etc.? I take one cup of coffee and my penis is hyper-agitated the rest of the day. I don't really feel anything in the bladder; it's all in the penis. It's so annoying....

Discomfort and numbness at the same time
Hello everyone, Does it make sense to say that I have numbness and discomfort/pain in the same organ? My penis is mostly numb but I do feel it some. To the extent I do feel it, it is not pleasurable. I feel tingling, pricking (no pun intended), and pressure sensations. The pressure sensation is incr...

Re: DRG stimulator vs nerve decompression surgery
Thank you Violet and April I should clarify. They were two different doctors. The first doctor said he prefers to go to the nerve decompression surgery first and then do the DRG stimulator if surgery fails. He's out-of-state. I just had a tele-visit with him. I'm going to see him in-person in Novemb...

Re: DRG stimulator vs nerve decompression surgery
One of the doctors implied that it was highly unlikely that I have PN due to the fact that I was sitting. Does that make sense? Sitting makes my pain worse but not so much that I can't sit at all. For work, I sit rather than stand most of the time even though I have a standing desk at my work-from-h...
