Re: Dr. Echenberg, Bethlaham, PA

I was wondering if anyone knows if Dr. Echenberg's main concentration/treatment for the pain of p.n. is physical therapy. I've been debating on getting an appt. with him but if that is his main emphasis I've been thru that too many times to know that it's not the answer. Plus there is no one close e...

Re: Embrel Injections For Nerve Inflammation

Can you tell me more about the Embrel injections? Are they done in the area of the nerve entrapment/problem is, or just given as a shot in the arm? And are they still helping with the nerve pain? It would be wonderful if this would help some of us.

Thanks for your reply in advance.

Re: List of Doctors who use Botox

Dr. Kristine Whitmore in Philadelphia does Botox internally, under sedation. Her phone no. is: 215-863-8100. She is located at 207 N. Broad St., Philadelphia. Does anyone know if Dr. Richard Marvel in Baltimore, MD does Botox, or if he refers a patient to John Hopkins Medical center, also in Baltimo...

Re: Strange trip to Phoenix

Bathsheba - Potter's MRIs were covered by my insurance. You would need to call her office and ask them if they accept your insurance. Mine is BC/BS. When I called they told me the MRIs were covered and I haven't received any invoices (so far, fingers crossed).

Re: MRI results from Dr. Potter visit

Helen and Celeste - I'm sorry I haven't posted before this. I've just been very down, not getting dressed some days at all. Besides the pudendal problem, I have a lot of g.i. issues and back issues which now makes it more painful to lie down than to sit, plus a problem with the occipital nerves in m...

Re: MRI results from Dr. Potter visit

Hi Helen - thank you for your reply. I have no idea as to what to do next. There are no physical therapists in my area who know anything about pudendal nerves so I would assume they wouldn't know how to treat muscle atrophy in that area since we are limited in doing core exercises, and that is possi...

Re: MRI results from Dr. Potter visit

Calluna - thanks for the information. I am not too computer literate as you probably have guessed. And that is why I can't scan the report onto the forum Cari. I did get a paper copy of the report today in the mail. I don't know if the ordering dr. has received it yet as they have a CA address for h...

Re: MRI results from Dr. Potter visit

Calluna and Cari - thank you both for your responses. I checked and I did have the box checked for responses so not sure why I am still not getting the notifications. Cari - the day I had my MRIs done, they told me if I wanted a copy sent to my home I should sign a form at the front desk when I went...

Re: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD POTTER MRI

Hi Cari - saw an old post of yours asking if Dr. Potter will see you afterward. Maybe you have been to see her already. But I just wanted to tell you that it is not guaranteed. I went for my MRIs (waiting 4 months for the appt. and enduring a difficult trip, which involved standing on a train for 3 ...
