Re: Nerve Conduction. Study

For pudendal nerve conduction studies, check with a few local colorectal docs, they sometimes handle these tests. Just call ahead and ask if they do them.

Re: surgical approaches comparison grid from FB group

That grid’s super helpful but kinda locked behind FB rules, so reposting it outside the group might be a no-go. I'd just say check out pudendalhope.info in the meantime: similar info, laid out clean, and no login drama.

Re: Cryoablation by a Kaiser Doctor in San Jose

If the blocks aren’t working, I’d lean toward pelvic floor bodywork or somatic therapy instead. Way more natural, and it actually helps some people long-term without messing with the nerves.

Re: Backtivator cushion

I used the Backtivator too, it was honestly the only cushion that actually helped my posture and pain. Since it’s discontinued, I’ve been trying to find something close, but nothing matches it exactly

Re: Best cushion for travel?

You might want to check out the ComfiLife Gel Enhanced Seat Cushion. It’s one of the few travel-friendly ones that’s soft enough for sacral pain, but still keeps its shape. It’s about 2.8” thick but has that plush memory foam feel, not too firm, not too squishy. No built-in strap, but you can defini...

Re: Skin Color/Texture Changes - Can anyone relate?

From everything you described, it really sounds like there could be a nerve issue that standard tests just aren’t picking up. Something like small fiber neuropathy or autonomic nerve dysfunction might explain both the numbness and the skin texture changes. These don’t always show up on regular EMG o...

Re: My Experience: Cycling & Pudendal Neuralgia/Chronic Pelvic Pain

I’ve also been exploring some things to help with the stress-sleep-pain cycle, since I’ve noticed (like you mentioned) that lack of sleep or high stress instantly makes things worse. One thing I’ve been testing lately is CBD, not as a main treatment, but as a supplement to calm my system down before...

Re: My health journey - looking for advice

Hey Lindsey, just jumping in to say you're not crazy for thinking this could be a mix of things. I’ve seen cases where pelvic floor dysfunction plus hypermobility just amplifies everything. Tight pelvic floor, nerve irritation, bladder issues, it all starts blending together. Might be worth asking y...

Re: Scar tissue eating enzymes

Yeah, this could be a game changer if it actually works long-term. Scar tissue’s a huge problem after any nerve surgery. Curious to see if it holds up in real-world use and not just in trials.

Re: New here and desperate for help

The combo of IC and PN is brutal, and sitting all day makes it worse. I’ve found a little relief doing gentle stretches and switching between heat and cold packs, but honestly, it’s more about managing flares than fixing it. Acupuncture didn’t help much for me either, but everyone’s different. Hope ...
